Our decking boards have been in use for 20 years
Dimensional decking material was the first product created from our Ayagi composite material. The rigid internal skeleton arose from the need for a material capable of supporting heavy traffic. Ayagi decking has been in use for almost 20 years in Japan. It's now here in North America.

Yes, our composite decking does all weather. Not only is it water-proof -- it actually floats -- but its also doesn't get hot in the sun. It outperforms in snow, hail, sleet, salt-water and heat waves. And like composite decking it is easily cleaned with water and mild detergent. Ayagi doesn't encourage growth of mold and mildew which is a problem with wood. That means no deep power-washing is needed; it means no sanding every 2 years; and no staining or painting ever.

Composite decking made entirely of extruded Polyethylene (PE) introduced a major problem of their own. PE fades in the sunlight in a mattter of years. High-end composite decking are now capped with Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) or made entirely of extruded PVC. The polymer used in our composite is inherently UV resistance. For this reason, it is warrantied against UV degradation for 25 years.
Dimensional material
Decking is best accomplished in the 34mm thick material in particular the S3S option. 20mm is suitable for decking fascia boards. 50mm series can be used for steps. Take note to select S3S (Surfaced 3 sides) over S4S (Surfaced 4 sides) as several dimensions offer both options.

Series 20
Fascia boards come in various dimensions.
- HAZ212 - A 120mm ( ~ 5 1/8) wide board ideal ( S3S ).
- HAZ215 - At150mm ( ~ 5 7/8 inch) ideal for 2x6 built decks ( S3S ).
- HAZ218 - A board at 180mm ( ~ 7 3/32 inch) ideal for 2x8 built decks ( S3S ).
